  • From I95 (also known as Route 128 in the Boston area) take Exit 31B (Route 4 & 225) toward Bedford
  • Continue on Route 4 & 225 until you see the first traffic light (about ½ mile)
  • Just before the light, bear right into a jughandle (there is a sign that says "To Hartwell Avenue and Hanscom Field"). This will take you onto Hartwell Avenue
  • Continue straight on Hartwell Avenue
  • Instrumentation Laboratory is about 1 mile down the road on the right, diagonally across from the Hartwell House Restaurant.

From White Plains Airport

  • Take Rte 684 S to I-287 N (NY State Thruway)
  • Continue NW on I-287 over Tappan Zee Bridge
  • Take Exit 12 (Rte. 303) S for approximately 3 miles
  • IL is on your right just past Materials Research Co.

From Newark, NJ Airport

  • I-95 N (NJ Turnpike)
  • Stay in local traffic lanes after toll booth
  • Before entering New York City via the George Washington Bridge, you will see signs for the Palisades Parkway (DON'T take the Bridge)
  • Take Palisades Parkway exit (LEFT exit off the Turnpike)
  • Left at the light
  • Straight through 2 lights (you will have passed the GW Bridge on the right and a shopping center on the left)
  • There is a small sign for the Palisades Parkway which exits on the right just after a gas station
  • Drive North on Palisades Parkway to Exit 5 (Rte. 303N) to Orangeburg
  • Stay on Rte. 303 for about 2.5 miles
  • IL is on the left just past the car wash and Paxar.
